What is Concussion?
Concussion or referred to as a traumatic brain injury (TBI) is basically defined as a change in brain function or other brain pathology caused by an external force. An example would be a blow to the head or a sudden stop, an example of this could be a car accident or a fall. There can be occasions where there isn’t a direct blow to the head, where a concussion can occur from violent movements in the head or neck.
What symptoms can you experience?
There is a range of symptoms that can be experienced for those who have sustained a concussion:
- Headaches
- Feeling like in the fog,
- Balance issues, dizziness
- Difficulty sleeping
- Noise / light sensitivity
- Memory issues
- Fatigue (getting tired easily)

3. Metabolic - meal intakes don’t get processed properly in the body, hence your brain doesn’t utilise the nutrition needed.

4. Whiplash (Neck pain) - caused during the injury, can cause many symptoms too
